I remember that we were the tenth family to move into mission Viejo, then quickly on to Maui and Oahu. Before we knew it, we found ourselves living in Holland and after a couple of years we came back to the States to Overland Park, Kansas. Finally moving on to Peculiar, Missouri and it was there that you moved out on your own at age 18. I remember watching you drive off in your red mustang and thinking to myself, ‘I hope I haven't lost my sister forever?’

In 1984,
when I was hospitalized,
I woke to see you sitting there,
with a smile on your face.

When I needed help in 1990,
for my addictions,
you were one of the people,
who helped to save my life.

I remember how you taught me,
to forgive myself.
And later how it hurt us all,
to watch Mom pass away.

Hey, do you remember the “Kathy and Patrick Show?” You gave me my start in show business. You gave birth to Angelique one day before my birthday and it's awesome. Remember us sculpting statues together out of clay? I made a monk and you made a Pharoh? It was you who unlocked that creativity in me. Now, you're a proud Grandma and I'm so proud of you. Rosie and Mathew are beautiful, they're God's wonderful gift to you.
