She's a diamond in a world tarnished by hate. She keeps on trying, never looks for an escape. A true believer in the love of God, and the Deceiver is afraid of what she's got.

"LAST DAYS IN PARADISE" Sitting outside in the sun, birds singing all around. A new day has begun, I'm really feeling down. I've always loved this place, my refuge where I find peace. Soon I'm goin’ away, won't be seeing anymore of me. Chorus Last Days in Paradise, that's just how it goes. Running out of precious time, gonna be leaving my home. Last Days in Paradise, there's nothing I can do. Big changes coming in my life, gotta find somewhere new. These are the last days … in Paradise. Been here for so long, not sure where I'm gonna go. I'll find a way to get along, maybe not again, who knows? Home is where the heart is, and mine will always be here. This special place I'll surely miss., The memories I'll hold dear.   Last Days in Paradise, that's just how it goes. Running out of precious time, gonna be leaving my home. Last Days in Paradise, there's nothing I can do. Big changes coming in my life, gotta find somewhere new. These are the last days … [Guitar solo] Thank you God for all the good times, I'll cherish them inside. As the clock finally unwinds, tears will fill my eyes. This was more than just a home, my family’s paradise. Now it's time to let it go, and close this part of my life. Last Days in Paradise, that's just how it goes. Running out of precious time, gonna be leaving my home. Last Days in Paradise, there's nothing I can do. Big changes coming in my life, gotta find somewhere new. These are the last days … These are the last days … These are the last days … in Paradise.

Kate 04:42
"KATE" I know we don't talk as much, as we used to do. Don't seem to take the time, to talk about what's new. Family is something, that is felt in the heart. Sometimes it's a bumpy ride, that tries to tear it all apart. Please know my big sister, you're always in my heart. A part of my eternal soul, to me, you're the star. Kate, I could never repay you, for the love you have shown me. I wrote this song for you, so you'd know I didn't forget. [Spoken] I remember that we were the tenth family to move into mission Viejo, then quickly on to Maui and Oahu. Before we knew it, we found ourselves living in Holland and after a couple of years we came back to the States to Overland Park, Kansas. Finally moving on to Peculiar, Missouri and it was there that you moved out on your own at age 18. I remember watching you drive off in your red mustang and thinking to myself, ‘I hope I haven't lost my sister forever?’ In 1984, when I was hospitalized, I woke to see you sitting there, with a smile on your face. When I needed help in 1990, for my addictions, you were one of the people, who helped to save my life. I remember how you taught me, to forgive myself. And later how it hurt us all, to watch Mom pass away. Kate, I could never repay you, for the love you have shown me. I wrote this song for you, so you'd know I didn't forget. [Spoken] Hey, do you remember the “Kathy and Patrick Show?” You gave me my start in show business. You gave birth to Angelique one day before my birthday and it's awesome. Remember us sculpting statues together out of clay? I made a monk and you made a Pharoh? It was you who unlocked that creativity in me. Now, you're a proud Grandma and I'm so proud of you. Rosie and Mathew are beautiful, they're God's wonderful gift to you. I know we don't talk as much … I know we don't talk as much …

"PROPHET IN BLACK" Got the calling many years ago. To speak through songs to the souls. I don't know why it was me, that the spirit came to see. I've always loved the Creator, but I know who I am. I won't tell you how you should live your life, I know I'm a sinful man. [Chorus] Prophet in Black. Looking out across America, I see good people everywhere. Our generosity must never stop, we can't ever lose our sense of fair. I believe in the dream, but it will take you and me. To be united on the same side, we can hold our heads up high. Prophet in Black, I've got a job to do, and that is that. Prophet in Black. [Guitar solo] Saints and sinners shaking hands, all doing the best we can. Don't look down on anyone, we're all sparks from the same Sun. USA all the way, look at the price others have paid. We've got to stand together, to let freedom reign forever. Prophet in Black, but I ain't here to judge no one. Prophet in Black, this is a song that must be sung. Prophet in Black, I've gotta job to do and that is that. Prophet in Black.

"COWBOYS OF APOCALYPSE" Like the riders of the storm, and the ghost riders in the sky. There comes a powerful force, take the time to read the signs. Here to bring a message, to the earth and all who dwell. For everyone lost in a desert, that sometimes feels like Hell. [Chorus] Hear the thunder in the sky. See the storm that's coming on. The Cowboys of Apocalypse, will lead the world with song. See the mighty lightning flashing, as the planet is on fire. The Cowboys of Apocalypse, will lead your soul up high. Traveling on a mystical range, riding past the scarlet moon. The rumbling of hooves, as they gallop into town. With guns on each hip, always moving in the shadows. An atmospherical trip, goin’ where the wind blows. Hear the thunder in the sky, see the storm that's coming on. The Cowboys of Apocalypse, will lead the world with song. See the mighty lightning flashing, as the planet is on fire. The Cowboys of Apocalypse, will raise your soul up high. [Break] The horsemen ride through time, outer space never runs out. The universe has many saloons, always secrets to be found. Hidden under black dusters, are the scrolls that bring the wrath. And when the seals are broken, the end will come at last. Hear the thunder in the sky, see the storm that's coming on. The Cowboys of Apocalypse, will lead the world with song. See the mighty lightning flashing, as the planet is on fire. The Cowboys of Apocalypse, will raise your soul up high.

"GHOSTS ON THE TRAIL" In the outskirts of Tombstone, sitting around the campfire, singing songs with some friends, everyone was feeling fine. It was another beautiful night, not a cloud in the sky, The coffee was piping hot, just having a good time. Up rode a see-through cowboy from out of the black night. We all stopped and looked at him with faces of surprise. He said, “Begging your pardon folks, I don't mean to impose, but the coffee sure smells good, and dust has coated my throat.” “Help yourself” we said to him. “Come and sit down awhile.” I asked him what his name was and he just kinda smiled. He said “I used to be a lawman, a long long time ago. I traveled these parts for many a year, it will always be like home.” [Chorus] Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can hear them. Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can hear them. Ghosts on the trail - I can see them “There are things going on around you all at this same time and place. And I know that you don't know, or recognize, my face. The past never died, it just kinda moved out of view. If you folks would like me to, I'll be happy to show you.” Before we could ask what he meant the campfire began to blaze. Three more transparent riders rode in off the trail. Then a strong feeling came over us, it was like going back in time. Not far from the OK Corral, at the moon coyotes cried. We were all numb inside, our minds where blown. The four men had on six shooters, and their eyes where black as coal. Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can hear them. Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can hear them. Ghosts on the trail - I can see them “Don't be afraid my new friends,” the first man reassured us. “We’re just here to enjoy your company, and this coffee does taste good.” All night long we sang cowboy songs, while one of my buddies played guitar, a hootin’ and a hollerin’ under a million desert stars. At the first sign of sunrise, the men said “It's time to go.” They thanked us all very kindly, and off the four men rode. None of us will ever forget, and nothing can ever compare, To the night we made friends with The Ghosts On The Trail. Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can hear them. Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can see them Ghosts on the trail - I can hear them. Ghosts on the trail - I can see them

PC Crap 04:35
"PC CRAP" Never gave a damn about no PC Crap When I grew up, didn't need none of that. Had no need for a damn safe space, that's not how we were raised. [Chorus] Don't give in to no PC Crap, ‘cause it's all about control. One by one freedoms vanish, that's how they take your soul. Don't give in to no PC Crap, cause it's all about control. Protest here and a protest there. Men in manbuns everywhere. I don't understand those vagina hats, don't get the logic in that. Don't give in to no PC Crap, ‘cause it's all about control. One by one freedoms vanish, that's how they take your soul. Don't give in to no PC Crap, don't let them keep you on the hook. Soon enough you'll know the truth, it's all enforced by crooks. Kiss an ass here and kiss an ass there. Don't disagree now, don't you dare. Crying like babies when they don't win. America's drowning in mortal sin. Don't give in to no PC Crap ‘cause it's all about control. One by one freedoms vanish, that's how they take your soul. Don't give in to no PC Crap, don't let them keep you on the hook. Soon enough you'll know the truth, it's all enforced by crooks. Protest here and a protest there, men in manbuns everywhere. [Solo] Never gave a damn about no PC Crap, when I grew up didn't need none of that. Had no need for a damn safe space, that's not how we were raised. Don't give in to no PC Crap, ‘cause it's all about control. One by one freedoms vanish, that's how they take your soul. “I BELIEVE IN AMERICA” I believe in America, I believe in the land of the free, I believe in the home of the brave, I believe in America.

"THE BEAUTY OF YOU" Time is a blessing, when it's spent with you. Special moments, keep shining through. [CHORUS] The angels sing and the flowers bloom, all because of you, because I'm here with you. Because I'm here with you. I love the sunshine of your smile, the way you feel in my arms. I'm yours forever, if you'll have me dear, my soulmate from heaven, I give you my heart. The angels sing and the flowers bloom, all because of you, because I'm here with you. The beauty of you. The angels sing and the flowers bloom. All because of you, because I'm here with you. The beauty of you. I love the sunshine of your smile, the way you feel in my arms. I'm yours forever, if you'll have me dear. my soulmate from heaven, I give you my heart.

"I BELIEVE IN YOU" This one is for you. This one is for you. Now I see in your eyes the trials you've had to face, … oh yeah. And time doesn't heal all wounds. Relief never comes too soon. [CHORUS] Never give up. Never surrender. Gotta be your own best friend. You don't need anyone else, if you believe in yourself. Uh Huh. [INTERLUDE] This one is for you. This one is for you. Thomas, God bless you, and everything you do. You did nothing wrong. Pain can make us strong. I believe in you. I believe in you Never give up, Never surrender. Gotta be your own best friend. You don't need anyone else, If you believe in yourself. Uh huh [INTERLUDE] I believe in you. I believe in you. Never give up. Never surrender. Gotta be your own best friend. You don't need anyone else, if you believe in yourself. Uh huh. [INTERLUDE] This one is for you. This one is for you. Thomas, God bless you and everything you do. You did nothing wrong, pain can make us strong. I believe in you. I believe in you Never give up. Never surrender. Gotta be your own best friend. You don't need anyone else, if you believe in yourself. Uh huh.

"THERE YOU GO AGAIN" Speaking in terms of the matters of the soul, it's something we all can lose. Consequences burn even more when you're old, it's all in what we choose. I know I've said this a thousand times, it still remains the truth. Take responsibility for what you do. Own up for being you. [INTERLUDE] The bombs fly when you speak like you do, destruction all around. Does it feel good to just walk away, like some evil clown? [CHORUS] Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo A pickled brain from years of abuse. the booze was never your friend. Living that life is making you insane, this won't go well in the end. It breaks my heart to see you this way, sometimes I just wanna die. Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo There you go … there you go again, and you say … There you go … there you go again. Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo Inside my heart bleeds, the pain brings me to my knees. Ooo ooo ooo [INTERLUDE] I wrote this for you because I love you. I hope you hear what the words say … ‘cause they come from my heart … from me to you.

"In Memory Of Scottie" Window shopping around in this little Danish town. I could hear some music, listen to the sound. There sat a man so casually, he gave a grin and he played for me. He laughed and sang with every song. He made me feel like I belonged. As I listened to him play for me, he touched the keys so tenderly. He loved his music and it showed. He had a heart of gold. He played for me a melody, He played the notes so carefully. [CHORUS] Beautiful music all around, ‘round the town he'd play. A song and a smile was always his style, he gave his best when he played. Beautiful music all around, ‘round the town he'd play. A song and a smile was always his style, he played for me every day. Solvang's quiet, no one left to play, the tears are running down my face. You see my friend has passed away, the price for life we've all gotta pay. There is nothing more that I could say, but in our memories Scottie you will stay. Beautiful music all around, ‘round the town he'd play. A song and a smile was always his style. He gave his best when he played. Beautiful music all around, ‘round the town he'd play. A song and a smile was always his style, and he plays with angels today. Beautiful music all around, ’round the town he'd play. A song and a smile was always his style, and he plays with angels today. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful music he'd play. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful music he'd play. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful music he'd play. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful music he'd play. [SPOKEN] Scottie we love you. There's nothing more to say but in our hearts and memories, you shall always and forever stay.

about

A message from Prophet:

It's hard for me to believe that it's already been 11 years since the release of our first "Prophet & The Cowboys of Apocalypse" CD entitled, "The Edge". Much has happened in my life and in the world since then, and this collection of music contains the very essence of my heartfelt pain and spirit filled joy that I have experienced in the last 11 years.

"The Edge" was written when I was fighting cancer and recorded when my mother was fighting ALS or "Lou Gehrigs Disease". My mother ended up passing away in 2008, and then my sister "Kate" died in March 2020, along with my AA sponsor "John Arthur Carter" who (I had since March of 1990) also passed away in December of 2020.

I can't really describe the pain and void I feel in my heart since losing them but no matter what to "God" be all glory and honor. He has a plan for us all and He can do His job well if we are willing to get out of the way and let Him work. It's hard to remember sometimes that our loved ones are only on loan to us from the Creator.

It is my hope that this music will be a blessing to your life and may help you through hard times in life by putting a smile on your face and in your heart. The creation of this record has been a total gift for me because I got to create it with some of the musicians I respect, admire and love with all of my heart. I also want to share that all of the current members of "St. Madness" have taken part in this project, as well as three former "St. Madness" guitar players. Then, add in some other amazing musician friends and this music is the results. I love this album so much!!!
